Coffee May Reduce Risk for CV Disease in Women
"Coffee consumption in postmenopausal women is associated with a U-shaped mortality curve with lowest mortality in women consuming 1 to 3 cups of coffee daily and the highest mortality in those who drink no coffee.
An inverse association is seen between coffee intake and non–cardiovascular disease inflammatory disease in postmenopausal women, but no association is seen with cancer and injury deaths."
Reported in the May issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
