Saying good-bye to Coffee and Cream

Linda greeted me most mornings--the first person of the day I talked to. Hope to see her next year.

Ice Cream for breakfast

When I was at Coffee and Cream for my early coffee, the college girl at the next table was having a hot fudge sundae with M&M sprinkles and whipped cream about 7:20 a.m. She said, "I love vegetables, but I just hadn't had ice cream in a long time."

Then after church we went to the Patio Restaurant for breakfast and I saw two young girls, maybe 9 or 10, with dishes of ice cream walking out about 10:20. I think they'd been sent there by their parents to get breakfast. Oh well, can't be much worse than donuts--may have even more nutrition.
