Hides her age

I saw a very young girl at the coffee shop today, thought maybe she was middle-school, but she was studying very hard.

Me:  What are you studying?

She:  For the CPA exam.

Me:  Really?  I thought you were were about 12.

She: Yes, I get that a lot.

A capitalist's dream

The young man said he was a business finance major at Ohio State University.

"Maybe someday you can be called before Congress to testify as an evil Wall Street CEO," I joked.

"That would be my dream," he smiled.

And where else but America could a counter clerk working his way through the state university dream of becoming a mover and shaker, colluding with the White House and Congress to influence regulations to restrict the competition?
